Agcld We started as little green freslues in the fall of 49 wrth 39 members tn our class Our sponsors were Mrs Kellam and Mr Hicks We elected the following students for our class offxcers Prestdent Leland Kensler Sec and Treas Bob Munruer Vrce Presrdent Don Tate Reporter Delane Robinson Our Oompah candrdates were Lors Smith and Paul Wtlliamson and for our Basketball Queen Attendants we chose Anna Weber and Meda Allen At the begmrung of our sophomote year we were very happy to welcome four new members to our class Manta Retsrng Sue Wallace Ioan wathen and Phyllrs Eskew However we lost three ofour classmates Margte Shoaff Charlotte Elgan and lim Karaff Later rn the year we lost Pat Beloat who became Mrs Mel Burger Our ofhcers were Presrdent Don Tate Sec and Treas Bob Munmer Vrce Presrdent Jerry Bradshaw Reporters Leland Kensler Meda Allen Our sponsors were Mr Galloway and Mr Hrcks Marjorle Holzmeyer and Delane Robxnson were our Oompah candtdates and Bonny DeJournett and Carol Woolston were our Basketball Queen Attendants We were very proud to have two yell leaders elected from our class They were Meda Allenand Dorothy Snuth Tlus was also the year we recerved our class sweaters and Jackets and our class rtngs Were we proud' and Betty Heldt We managed to keep our sponsors Mr Galloway and Mr Hrcks Our class ofircers were Presrdent Manta Rersing Secretary Phylhs Eskew Vtce Presrdent Lavonna West Treasurer Bob Munruer Reporter Joyce Armstrong The Oompah candidates were Mary Lou Weber and Don Tate and we chose Pnscrlla Sturgeon and Phylhs Eskew for our Basketball Queen Attendants We presented our class play A Date Wrth Judy on November 27 It was agreat success and we really en toyed grvrng rt We were hosts to the sernors at thejumor Seruor Prom We used the Hawanan theme We wtllhave pleasant memories from it for many years Fxnally we reached our goal senrors at last!
