S 0 U V li N I IQ CLASS HISTORY It should have been regarded as a very fortunate day for F B H S when m 1930 a band of dauntless httle 7 s first entered lts portals Few seemed to recognlze our ab1l1ty but we knew they would 1n tlme so went on about our affalrs In a few weeks we organized our class The next two years wxth the k1nd help of M1ss McCrea and Mr Weaver rolled swlftly and happlly by and before we reahzed xt we were ready to enter H1gh School Yes we really were on the first rung of the ladder leading upward Green Freshles Wlth Becknell and Plass as sponsors we had some very gay txmes as well as work th1s year In 1934 we gally came rush1ng bxck to school to clalm seats Just a notch farther back ln the assembly Cwhat an honorj To thlnk that we were now sophs Epperson and Becknell were the lucky teachers chosen to gulde our band thls year We had some very Jolly txmes th1s year as we had last year our group staymg Just about the same loslng old members whom we mourned and galmng new ones whom we haxled wlth Joy Junxors and we were all that the name 1mpl1ed Plass and Elpers were our sponsors thxs year We gave our class play Adam s Evenlng and due to our own efforts and Mr Lockwoods falthful guldance It was a success Our greatest event of the year was our Junlor Semor banquet g1ven ln honor of the depart1ng Senlors Thus our J un1or year crammed both w1th work and play ghded svuftly by Now our band of twenty seven has reached the last rung of the ladder of Hlgh School fame We are now dlgmfied Senlors Both Mr Hemmer and Mlss Elpers our sponsors have worked hard to make th1s our most pleasant and successful year We were very sorry to lose one of our mem bers Nancy Lewis who moved to Prmceton and welcomed gladly two new members to our fold Edward Van Deventer and Wlnfred French As we come to the partlng of the ways we welcome lt both joyously and sadly joyously because we have accomphshed our alms and sadly because we must leave our classmates teachers and F B H S Our one w1sh 1S that F B H S and all those assoc1ated w1th It may cherish as pleasant memorles of us as we do of It and them EUN ICE SIN GLETON . . . , , . . . y , . y Y V , . . . n y , . . .
