Key Club First Row: Dave Schopp, Sponsor - Mr. Cappis. Second Row: Nels DeBruycker. Third Row: Mitch Granger, Jim Bramlette, Terry Allen, Colin Stovall, Doug Tacke, Brooks Dietz, Allen Creek, Bob Hamilton, Loren Tacke, Mike Davison, Matt Davison, John Blanchard, Mike Dupree. Fourth Row: Art McCafferty, Jon Erickson, Daryl Creek, Brian Morger, Alan Tonne, Ken Ritland, Leland Miller. Key Club has been very active this year. They moved cars for people who were floating the river. Their volleyball team took first place in division 2. They helped move things into the new retirement home. On Halloween night they patrolled the streets and sold spook insurance. They put on a chili dinner and on New Years Eve they put on a breakfast after the Snowball Formal. They held a winter campout at Royce Cappis' cabin. They took signs down in the park, worked on the Shep monument, ran a lemonade booth at the fair, and did various other services for the school and the community. Secretary-Dave Schopp. 17

Sponsored By Key Club Work Day is a yearly event, sponsored by Key Club, Grades 11 and 12 participate. The purpose of Work Day is to let the student participate in a com- munity job for a day. It is both a fun and a learning experience. Some of the places stu- dents worked at were, the high school, (as Adminis- trators and as teachers), at the Sherriffs Office, Jeanies Cafe, the Hospital, KEIN radio, the Tastee Freeze, the Courthouse, the Public Library, the Post Office, etc. 1. Judy Settera worked with her mother at Thriftway. 2. Lori Lotten worked at the Gre enhouse. 3. Bonnie Ary worked at Coast to Coast. 4G5. Denise Bomgardner and Becky Ross worked at Ron's Food Center. 6. Charlene Pape worked at Coast to Coast. 7. Tammi Wigger worked at Benton Pharmacy. 8. Rose Sheldon worked at Ron's also. 9. Tamee Brodock worked at 19 H-O Parts.
