S.: This past year, as Editor of the 1978 yearbook has been quite a challenging experience. There have been many ups and downs, but I have learned a great deal, and if I had the chance to do it again, I would. I was lucky to have such a diligent, hard working crew. I owe them a great deal of thanks, because without them, this book would not have been possible. A special thanks to Mr. Jones for be- ing so understanding in the worst of situations. The Pioneer Staff is lucky to have such a dedicated sponsor. I hope that this book will hold special memories for you, as it will for me.
