High School Student Council As I look back on what has happened in student council these past few months, I can feel proud to say that I have played a part in the accomplishments so far this year, including the sending of delegates to the district and state student council conventions, pro- posing and ratifying the B-club constitution, Homecoming, the carnival, and the Christmas party. The future projects include a constitution change which would involve revising the preamble to our constitution. We are also planning on having a student ex- change program with C.M.R. , where they would visit our school and we would visit theres. This would show us how a larger school operates. We have also one major project left, that being Longhorn Day. Longhorn Day always takes a large amount of planning and we have fun times in store for all. We would also like to make this a memorable day, where all our plans turn out. In closing, I would like to say, I've tried my best, but sometimes that wasn't enough and without my council associates, I wouldn't have made it through this year. It has been great serv- ing the school and presiding over the student council. Sincerely, Brice Russell, Pres. Top left to right. From Left to Right - Elaine Chamberlain- Editor, John Jones - Sponsor, and Debbie Hume- Business Mana ger. To Fellow Students of F.B.H. S.: This past year, as Editor of the 1978 yearbook has been quite a challenging experience. There have been many ups and downs, but I have learned a great deal, and if I had the chance to do it again, I would. I was lucky to have such a diligent, hard working crew. I owe them a great deal of thanks, because without them, this book would not have been possible. A special thanks to Mr. Jones for be- ing so understanding in the worst of situations. The Pioneer Staff is lucky to have such a dedicated sponsor. I hope that this book will hold special memories for you, as it will for me. I would like to wish the best of luck to the staff mem- bers in the coming years. God Bless You. Elaine Chamberlain
