The SKELETON WALKS is Presented The spring play, THE SKELETON WALKS, contained a junior-senior cast and an all-junior crew. The play was deemed the most successful of several years, and was directed by Mr. Sam Conner and Mr. Warren Elwood. It was Mr. Conner's first attempt at directing a play. With a cast of ten, the smallest of re- cent plays, the play had the largest gate. An intriguing play of suspense and my- stery, the children of the audience partici- pated in the action. Screams accompanied the skeleton as he carried Lillian Kline up the stairs. The characters of the play were very well cast with each person fitting” his or her role perfectly. This appeared to be the most smooth running and successful play presented at Fort Benton High School re- cently. After this play, the plays will revert back to class plays from all-school plays. This move was necessary because of lack of in- terest in the all-school play. With this change should come the class spirit necessary for a successful play. Cast Mrs. Hubbard Elaine . . . Anne .... Students Join In Spring Cleaning For once in their lives, Rusty Peres, Art McCoun, and Sam Watson show a little muscle as they pull a fence post. Ray Grande supervises dog pile on Sam Watson. Believe it or not, he came out alive. Kelly Moorse seems to think getting a lawn mower started is the funniest thing in the world. Despite this obstacle, her team went on to take the first-place trophy. Dennis Roller, Mike'Speakman, and Kent Aznoe show a bit of hustle as they wheel barrows of fertilizer across the front lawn. 13
