The year started out easy enough with the usual confusion over what class each person goes to and class officer elections. Jon Meredith was picked to be president; Martin Molinario, vice-president; Lynda Bramlette, secretary; Dale Nottingham, treasurer, and Jack Lepley was chosen as class sponsor. Then just as the juniors were getting used to school, homecoming week rolled around and the juniors had to start work on their float. It took a lot of time, but their float was judged best in the homecoming parade. Several months after the float the juniors had their annual play and following right on the heels of the play was the highlight of the year, the junior prom. The prom took a long time but the end results were worth it. Finally the hustle and bustle was over and the junior year came to a close. But Mr. Taylor, 1 didn't do it!” says Carol Harris during the advanced math I class.
