Prom, Sneak Day, Clas The prom queen, Betty Anderson, reigns supreme while Junior Class President Jon Meredith and the Class Princesses stand by her side. The Junior Prom Fascination presented by the Junior Class in honor of the Senior Class on May 13, I960, was a beautiful ballroom of blended pink, purple, and aqua colors. At one end of the dance floor a phosphoresent star and moon glowed in the light of an ultraviolet lamp. Couples danced to the soft fascinating music of Lewis Schaurer's Orchestra and drank punch at a fringed booth. In two corners of the ballroom chaperones sat at special tables while the flickering light of burning candles added to the soft glowing mood of the 1960 prom. A time sequence showing the miracle trans- formation of the bleak gym into a breathtaking ballroom. Robert Schmiedeskamp and Rose Marie Nagengast coming through the arches formed at the last of the Grand March.
