SCHOOL BOARD Bruce Gilbert, Clerk. Ingolf Birkeland Dear Friends, If I ever had any doubts about the wisdom of my selection of a profession, the past year in Fort Benton has dispelled them. The returns— material, aesthetic, and spiritual—for me have been far greater than I could hope to earn or de- serve . That the transition between superintendents, the move to a new building, and the hosting of two tournaments and a music festival in addition to the regular activities and achievements of a school year could be accomplished smoothly—in spite of the fact that your superintendent took a forced leave of absence—is a tribute to the stu- dents, staff, school board and past administration Remembering the past year will help me to maintain and strengthen my faith in the worth of serving youth.
