CLASS HISTORY Fifty-two green freshmen marched into the halls of F. B. H. S. to the tune of Davy Crockett . Wyley Good was elected president, and he was aided throughout the year by Vice President Jim Olson, Secretary Carol Peterson, Treasurer Kirby Salisbury, and Mr. Herbert Berg, Class Sponsor. We all agreed that the painting of the B and the traditional picnic and water fight afterward was the highlight of our first year. Mary Ellen Bessette was selected as Prom Princess. We began our Sophomore yeaF by again electing Wyley Good president. Other officers were Gary Towner, Vice President; June Crane, Secretary; Jim Olson, Treasurer; and Mr. Les Curry, Class Sponsor. We selected June Marie Helland as Homecoming Queen Candidate, and June Crane represented our class as Prom Princess. The class picnic in the Shonkin Mountains high- lighted the year. Wyley Good, President and Mr. Jack Lepley, Class Sponsor were elected to lead a very active Junior year. They were assisted by Vice President Jim Olson, Secretary Carol Peterson, and Treasurer June Marie Helland. We be- gan the year by gaining control of the Student Council. June Crane repre- sented our class as Homecoming Queen Candidate. The Junior Play, Men are Like Streetcars , was presented very successfully in the spring. The play was barely over when we began work on our Prom. We used Theme from Picnic as the theme, and Carol Peterson was selected Junior Princess. Well, we finally made it! Gee, it feels good to be Seniors! ! We began our Senior year in the new high school by again electing Wyley Good presi- dent and Mr. Lepley sponsor to lead us during our last year in the new high school. They were aided by Kirby Salisburg, Vice President; June Crane, Secretary; and Loretta Passage, Treasurer. Karen Zanto was Senior Princess for Homecoming. We presented the Senior Play, The People vs. Maxine Lowe , to a capacity crowd. Everyone seems to agree that Sneak Day and Graduation highlighted their four years at F. B. H. S. 6
