Freshmen: September, 1954, was the beginning of our high school career. We began by select- ing Henry Nagamori as our president and Mr. Lee as our sponsor. The classof 55 es- corted us up to the B for its annual painting in May. The picnic and water fight after- ward were dampened slightly by rain, but it did not hamper our fun. Jolene Kowalchuk was selected as our Prom princess. Our class picnic was held at Ryan Dam because of the rain. Sophomores: Henry was elected to lead our class again this year. Our class sponsor was Miss Dar- laine Bagley. Our Homecoming candidate this year was Carol Lilly and later in the year Donna M. Larson was selected as Prom princess. We decorated the auditorium for Bac- calaureate. Our class picnic was held in the Highwood Mountains. Juniors: Our leaders Henry Nagamori and Mr. Hoynes led us in a very busy year. The first big event was Homecoming and we selected Dale Stevens as our candidate. Our junior play, Rest Assurred, co-staring Ken Tacke and Willie Visher, was directed by Mr. Donald Fostvedt. We selected Two Different Worlds as our prom theme and carried it out very effectively. Patty Blanchard, from the Senior class was Queen of our prom and Carol Lilly was prom princess representing our class. Our bustling class planned class night and dec- orated for Commencement. Our class picnic was held at the same place in the Highwood Mountains as it was held the year before. Seniors! 11 We're SENIORS! Can you believe we really made it?? Henry Nagamori, for the fourth time, was elected president of our class. Our sponsor was Mr. D. J. Hoynes. We thoroughly enjoyed initiating the freshman class into high school and we thought they enjoyed it too. Reserve Two for Murder was selected as our senior play. Mr. Hoynes directed it and Ken Tacke and Tony Warren had the leading roles. Besides our regular performance we presented it for the B. P.O.E.(Elks Club) in Great Falls. Homecoming was a big event and we entered a float in the parade. Although our float did not win a prize, Carol Lilly, our candidate, was crowned Homecoming Queen between the halves of the Harlem football game. For the F.F.A. Sweetheart dance, Donna M. Larson was chosen as Senior candidate. The annual Sneak Day, Baccalaureate, Class Night, and at last that long awaited event. Graduation, concluded our happy and wonderful high school years. 15
