The hovs wore girl,s shorts and hlouses. sun honnets. and a toothhrush tied from a string around their necks. The girls wore paper cleaner hags. a silk stocking over their heads. large ruhher overshoes. an onion tied around their necks and cold cream smeared over their faces. November 2119. 1949. a freshman return dance was given in honor of the seniors. The annual painting of the MB concluded the more strenuous activities of the year. and being glad it was all over, the freshmen put away their hooks for a sunimeris vacation before again returning to school next fall, as sophomores. . , .f.. 9 g i 4 . 2. t ,. Donna Brinkman was chosen carnival queen at the annual Musiv Cluln Carnival. A successful sweater dance was given hy the sophomore cflass on November 18. 1949. In the early part of May the sophomores did a good job cleaning up the school grounds, on what was known as clean-up day.
