Faculty STANDING-Mrs. Brinkmeier, Mr. Finch, Mr. Blackmore, Mr. Carpenter, Mrs. Frederick, Mr. Masterson. SEATED-Mr. Van Ness, Mrs. Amsrud, Mrs. Lusardi. Thirteen full-time and five part-time instructors make up the FCHS teaching team. The forenoon teachers are Mrs. Ziegler and Mrs. Frederick who teach Freshman English and the girls P.E. classes. Mrs. Ellis comes each afternoon for short-hand, economics and general math. The two musicians — Mrs. Amsrud and Mrs. Slick — divide their time between the high school and the elementary school. Miss Miller of Cherokee, Iowa, is the only new member of the group. She teaches German, chemistry and science. She was graduated from Wayne State Teachers College in Nebraska last June. Eight of our teachers have Masters degrees: Amsrud, Brinkmeier, Carpenter, Egan, Ellis, Farley, Frederick and Masterson. Mrs. Lusardi has only her thesis to write to complete her Masters degree. Mrs. Brinkmeier is the capable and efficient office chief. Her most exacting and responsible work is handling the highly organized Board of Education bookkeeping system to render a true account of all district receipts and expenditures. Almost as time-consuming are the student class and organization accounts, — plus the hundreds of questions and phone calls to be answered daily. Mrs. Egan has given capable help with the cafeteria bookkeeping and many routine office tasks. STANDING-Mr. Frederick, Miss Miller, Mrs. Ziegler, Mr. Egan, Mr. Brinkmeier. SEATED-Mr. Farley, Mrs. Capps, Mrs. Grande. (Mrs. Slick was absent when the groups were photographed.)
