The Forreston Community High School, District No. 219, was organized in the spring of 1937. The five board members elected at that time were: Onne A. DeWa1l, Earl J. Link, Herman Frey, Walter Kaney, and Clarence Rademaker. J. E. Fisher was employed to serve as clerk for the board. Three ofthe original live are still members: Orme De- Wall, Earl Link, and Herman Frey. Oscar Vietmeier has been a member since August, 1940, when he was chosen to succeed Clarence Rademaker, who moved to Polo. Warren Kaney was elected in April, 1948, to succeed his father, Walter, who retired. B. H. Unangst has served as clerk since May, 1944 when he succeeded I. E.
