X r 42 8 3 K 5' S 6 i I 4 Q - SMNRWWHH station Jean Marko Sheppy and I are getting off to meet our frlend, Margaret Werry, CMargaret Blan chardl This trlp is being made to visit all of our school chums, especially those of 1946 Jean Shumate has married her employer, Bill Marko Sheppy, and I CMary Speak? married a friend of my brother, George McLaughl1n next door in an apartment house became very lonesome to see all declded to make this trip She and I are living in New York City W of our frlends, so Margaret Werry lS golng to her car Her husband 15 a minister She is happily married and has six lovely children take us vlsiting in The first home that we came to was Mrs Mary Alice Feemster Was I ever surprised' The first one I met on her porch was Ronney, the five year old son of Mary Alice Jim, her husband, was at work at the time. we enjoyed coffee and cake baked by Mary Alice. The time was getting short, so we all decid- ed to depart and locate Bill Weber. That wasn't very hard to do as he now owned a large grocery store in Fornfelt, named 'Bill's Marketn. They say he is getting rich as his meat trade and grocery trade are making profit. He is married to the sweet girl of his high school romance, Nina Hamil. His seven year old son was by his side as we stood there talking. Bill gave Jean and me a chicken and a pound of balona as a gift. What a nice person! The next person on the list was Ramona CBlattelD Blane. We drove quite a distance to her home in Kelso. When we finally reached her residence, Ramona was standing in front of her large farm wait- ing. She was quite thrilled to see us. As we all talked about our younger days, she entertained us by serving a fried chicken dinner.
