The banquet this year was held in , town instead of going out of town as had been the x previous pattern A circus parade down the center A of the tables furnished the background The food was dellcious and the entertalnment well organlzed Jimmy Feemster was toastmaster, and all in all every one enjoyed it immencely 6 SENIOR DAY May 14 was a date all seniors were looking forwar- to wlth anxiety because th1s w s declared Senior Day The class, sponsored by Mrs Bock, went to St Louis Some shopped, others went to the ball game, and others did both At the end of the day, although tired all t seniors said that the trip was thoroughly enjoyed and that it was a gala affalr lndeed COMMVNCFMFNT night of May 17 The glee club sang WGod of Our Iathersn in the processinnal and several others select ' ions throughout the exercises which conslsted of nhone Iut The Lonely He rtu, 'Who's That A Callingu, and HA1 hrough The Nightn The eight grade chorus sang two . numbers They were NMoving Alongn and UThe Fly and th- 'llean Judge J F McDowell presented the address and J H C Leiner presented the diplomas Ada Tyler 'as valedictorian -nd Mary Speak W-s salutatorian of the graduating senior class fx P- n We X 1
