The seniors, after much debate, chose 'Chieftain' as the name for the annual, and decided to have it printed instead of mimeographed. The paper is published every month. The purpose of the paper is to let the public know what the students are doing. The school pays for the paper, stencils, and whatever we use for the publishing of our paper. It is free to all students and non-high students. The paper includes news of the unit. The senior class typed the paper the first semester and the juniors typed it the second semester. The senior class is publishin the Forman Flash in the Pekin Daily Times.
