Imagination might be said to be the keynote of this year's staff who adopted the motto Quality Instead of Quantity . Striving to keep the superior standard of the paper were Mrs. Edens, Advisor, and Deanna Spaulding, Editor. At publication time the staff struggled to meet their deadlinesg Margie McLean, Judy Huggins, and Pauline Kilmer were assigned feature articles, while the typing was done by Barbara Marshall, Joanne Fraker and Sondra Peterson. Phyllis Lar- son, Lois McNichols, Betty Gourley, and Sheila Homan were active in all depart- ments. Bill Horton had the task of keeping the mimeograph machine going plus other odd jobs. The class spent the first semester in studying the principles of journalism, Their first paper came out just before Christmas. Issues were seen more frequently during the second semester. ?al:3g1,Nj1T5Pa11' :Oni Frghmyd Bill Horton, Sheila Homan, Pauline Kilmer, Soa um ga, jtltewor mg on e Mrs Edens Deanna Spaulding, Margie McLean and Lois p r L - y McNichols.
