'S rfdr, Y W., , After a memorable four years' of lun, work, and study, it is with sorrow that the class of 1957 leaves Forks High School. Although they leave their school days far behind, memories of them will remain always. As they entered their high school career they were greeted with a Welcoming party given by the Sophomores. JoAnn Fraker was the class's candidate for Carnival Queen Thanks to the student cooperation and enthusiasm, Henrietta Cooper was Queen of 1955 Carnival. The Junior year was filled with exciting activities. For their Junior Prom, the Class of presented April in Paris . At the 1956 Carnival Luella McElravy was first princess. The annual Junior Play, Father of the Bride , was fun for those who par- ticipated as well as for those who viewed it. The Senior Breakfast, served by the Juniors, was held at the Sol Duc Hot Springs. The Class of 57 has been noted lor their overwhelming turnout for athletics. They surprised the entire school by winning the high school intramural games during their Freshmen year. Ten of the eleven players on this year's undefeated football team were members of the Senior Class. Vtith the aid of their advisors, Mrs. King and Mr. Sund, the students displayed their initiative and ability by presenting White Christmas for the Senior Ball. As the members of the Class of 57 receive their diplomas, they will realize the fun and heartaches are at an end. May their lives be enriched by the time they have spent here. 26
