HATCHER HALL Hatcher Hall, the administration building, is the central structure of the group. Occupying as it does a commanding position on the campus, its dignity of structure and quiet simplicity of design is a fitting monument to the beloved founder, Dr. William E. Hatcher. It contains a study hall, commercial department, class-rooms with table arm chairs, administrative oflices, and mess hall. The latter is large, well-lighted and ventilated and, like the kitchen, is beautifully tiled throughout. JOHN J. WICKER CHAPEL This is, as it should be, the most beautiful building on the campus, with a seating capacity of 700. It was built by a real artist and school authorities were so pleased with the skill of the Workman that a bronze tablet was placed in the tower reading as follows: To Felix de Panicis, who laid every brick and stone in this building and put character in his workf' The beautiful memorial stained-glass cathedral windows are an inspiration to all. The Titmus Tower was the gift of Mr. E. H. Titmus of Peters- burg, Va., in memory of his father and mother, Richard C. Titmus and Harriet E. Tatum.
