Seniors Remained Active in Their Final Year at FV Boosted by the spirit and enthusiasm of its three officers, the Senior Class led the schooll in traditional Falcon activities. f Members of the Class of 1971 began the year by participating in planned events during their Spirit Week, held in late September. Dur- ing the week, seniors attended a folk festival, held a cutest baby contest, and chose calendar boys. Spirit Week activities ended with a class meeting in which seniors chanted the class song, Age of the Roinesj' and reviewed their twelve years of school life with an amusing skit. Seniors helped decorate for both the Fall Festival and Christmas Weeks. From early fall onward, class members remained busy pre- paring for the Christmas Ball, titled Fantasy in Frost. The dance reflected the efforts of committees of volunteers who spent hours co- ordinating ideas. As their final activity, the seniors pre- sented the school with a class gift in order to preserve the memory of the Class of 1971 in the halls of Forest View.
