Dan Boni, the most valuable gymnast, was the first Forest View athlete to win the District Championship in free exercise. Jim Pergander on the parallel bars and Randy Granzow on the high-bar both took ninth place at the all-Conference Meet. Sophoi more Don Lanham, in his first varsity appear ance, placed eighth in the District for hi performance on the rings. Coached by Mr. Ga Hughes, the team faced many strong opponents. especially Arlington and Hersey. The Falcon completed the season with a record of 3-J placing ninth in the Mid-Suburban League. . , s ' e e Coached by Mr Ed Cheatham the Fro Soph Gymnastics Team won eight of its fifte meets. There were two outstanding memb of the gymnastics team. In the all-Conferen Meet, Don Lanham, all-around man, took s ond place on the rings, while Mike Ferra placed third on the trampoline.
