This yearhs Spirit Week was held in traditional style. Everyone had a Chance to show their spirit through the daily activities which included The Dough Blow, A pie eating contest, An egg toss, and a Tug of War. Other special events included a Future Dress-Up Day, Mix and Unmatch Day, and 50hs Day. The after school activity was making the Class spirit walls. A Pep Assembly was held on Friday and a Sock-hop after the Football game. This yearhs Spirit Week was enjoyed by all. I llll-IIII-ln- III luluI-u-lu- 11

The first Homecoming Football game played in the new Charger Stadium was a victory for the Chargers. The Chargers scored a 2.1-7 victory over Norwood. Before the game, the annual Homecoming Parade was performed with the Seniors having the winning float. The Class of 7 7 constructed an enormous Winnie the Pooh with a clever saying attached, Pooh on Norwood. The Homecoming Dance was held on the following evening Brian Barnes and Lucretia Scott were crowned King and Queen. The remainder of the court included: Seniors Venice Nikias and Chuck Patterson, Judi Ruf and John Coffey, Susan Arns and Kip Waddell, From Scarlet Oaks were Seniors Carol Duncan and Tony Murphy. The Junior Couple was Paula Dilz and Scott Holthaus. Betty Behanan and Gary Hughes represented the Juniors from Scarlet Oaks. Kathy Ruthman and John Sullivan represented the Sophomore Class. The Freshmen Representatives were Gail Gardella and Eric Humbert. 13
