Balancing time among school, jobs, families, and friends keeps students in constant motion. No student is without the pressures of assignments, deadlines, and grades. Add a car payment, job, insurance, and a social life, and it is no wonder that kids find it hard to set priorities. It is also no surprise that some gave up trying to balance it all and put one thing first. For some, it was school, but for many, jobs or friends won the battle of priorities. Jt% w 1 Sewing projects require problem solving and allow discussion of projects. 2. Rhonda Litke and Roxanne Kelly find that a few minutes left at the end of class are preferably used for talk rather than getting last minute details done. 3. Longer library hours are helpful for Brian Kjellberg, while Jane Lambertson finds the IBM checkout system speeds her work as a volunteer In the library. 4 Janelle Daniels uses precious minutes In class to finish her work so she has one less book to carry home for the night.
