Homecoming Rein of Error Thwarts Mustang Recall Activity is synonomous with Homecoming in Ranger country. A variety of kooky and clever contests were combined with the gracious ceremony of the coronation, the vocal enthusiasm of the pepfest and game, the pulsing pagentry of the parade and bonfire and the oomp-pa-pas at the Alumni Polka. Student Council planned extra surprises like a balloon raise at the game and coupons for the purchase of hats, shirts and buttons. This year that old school spirit seemed to return after many thought the flame had died. Battle Cry was never louder than during the pep-fest this year. Then there was Lutz and the growl heard ’round the world. Even though the weather was a bit wet, it didn’t dampen the spirit of the Mighty Rangers! Mounds View Royalty, Clyde Nordshonovik and Gilda Munchavinski, showed up for the festivities.
