Forest Lake Wouldn't Shine Without the Class of '79 Memories of times past are in the hearts of graduating seniors. Some good and some bad which none of the seniors will ever forget. Upon entering the big school as sophomores many were in awe of the size, and others were shocked to see they were at the bottom of the ladder. There will always be memories of being a sophomore, and an underclassman. As juniors we were in the center of things. We still had to look up to the seniors but now we had someone to look down upon, the new sophomores. Finally the year 78-79 came, and the class was at the top of the ladder. The year passed with many activities and many decisions. As seniors, we had to look toward the future and plan our life. The end of the year came quickly, before we knew it it was time to pick up our diplomas and say so long and keep in touch to our friends and goodbye forever to FLHS. 1. Doug Banta and Mark Moraczewski are ready for the next race 2. Nurse Sandy Chimelewski and Amy Weeks ham it up in the homecoming parade. 3. Shawn Dolan and Craig Lindstrom prepare for their toga act. 4. Steve Kroska advises the senior girls on their next move in the powderpuff game 5. Otto Wirgau and Tom Hart lead the school in the snake dance. 6. Andy Valenty shows his skill to the town by painting the homecoming button on the window as senior Tim Scanlon and Mr. Houle look on. 7. Don Moe gets his hands a little sticky as he works in the foods class
