We have welcomed the addition of new classmates as we have gone along until our class this year num- bers forty-three members. We have look- ed forward to graduation as a time of hap- piness forgetting the import of sadness in separation. There is a challenge to every student leav- ing school—that is to leave a mark in history and to be successful. The class of 1939 accepts this challenge knowing that ambition and pride will help them carry out this ideal.

i-:-. fyoAew id . . . H-1 HE march of time has erased many worth- 1 while memories already in our young minds so the aim of the 1939 Forester is to bring forth the activities the Seniors have partici- pated in this year, their teachers and their schoolmates. We feel that after an elapse of time this book will bring back cherished memories of high school days.
