A very wise man once made this observation: Ideals are like stars--we never reach themg but, like the mariners on the sea, we chart our course by them. These words, I believe, represent quite clearly what we feel toward Forest Lake Academy. The ideals and the principles by which we seek to set our lives and purposes are held forth by our Academy--its teachers and students and board of trustees--as a beacon light for all youth to follow. As this ideal is sought, it not only prepares youth for meeting the responsibilities of this present existence, but also to find a place in Heaven.
