Math Notes Changes In Personnel There were a couple changes In per- sonnel in the math department. At the start of school Peter Gdula re- tired unexpectedly and after a study of applications, the board hired Myra Whysong, who was to teach senior math and lab math. Gloria Molnar, who last year substituted for George Mesoras, who was on sick leave, was hired full time to fill the vacancy created by Mr. Me- soras' retirement. Her classes in- cluded calculus, computer and trigonometry. Rounding out the math staff were Robert Bero who taught business math and algebra II and Michael Pe- trunak whose subjects included ge- ometry, trigonometry and advanced math. In the science department all four teachers returned with the chemis- try and physics duties handled by Regis Endler and James Ambroe. George Pettorini and Frank Kozar taught sophomores biology. Mr. Ko- zar also taught physiology to the seniors while Mr. Pettorini taught micro-biology to the medically minded seniors.
