At the December meeting the board of school directors re- organized and elected James A. Burkey as its new president. He succeeded Robert Chunta. Other officers elected were Rodney Fye, first vice-president; Robert Beyer, second vice presi- dent; Dorothy Ruddek, assistant secretary and Anthony Nastase, treasurer. Gilbert Caroff, who was re- tained as board solicitor, swore in three new board members, elected in the November general election. They included James L. White, Samuel Basile and Wilma Plummer. Meeting dates for the board were changed from the second Wednesday of each month to the first Monday. Meetings were held at 7:30 p.m. in the confer- ence room of the senior high school. Dr. Warren E.
