Dear Seniors: I wish to take this means of thanking the seniors for your fine cooperation during the first year at Forest Hills High School. It has been a challenge and you, the seniors, have tried in many ways to meet these challenges. We owe a deep debt of gratitude to those who made this year a success. It is my hope that as you ad- vance in life, you will never forget your association with us and will be instrumental in remembering the role we must play in the development of good citizens. We ask for your continued support for the school and, any service you can render will be ap- preciated. May you achieve all the success you have coming to you in the future. For a job well done I say ‘thank you’ and that it has been an honor working with you. J. P. Madigan High School Principal 9 JOSEPH P. MADIGAN - Principal

In Memoriam • Raymond C. Kirby It is with profound sorrow and sincere regret that we record the untimely passing of Raymond C. Kirby, business manager and board secretary of the Forest Hills School District. Mr. Kirby served as director and officer of the Croyle Township School District for sixteen years, and prior to his election as business manager and board secretary of Forest Hills Schools, he served for three years as business manager and board secretary of Triangle Area Schools. Mr. Kirby was dedicated and gave his time generously to the affairs of the school dis- trict (s) and community; the board members, administrators, teachers, and we. the students, feel deeply the loss of his friendship, his judgement, and untiring dedication in the interest of education of this area. We mourn his passing, not only as a personal loss, but as a loss to our school commu- nity.
