Unlike most organizations, our Honor Society meets but two times a year, one time to make a tour at a college, and the other meeting at the annual banquet. Last fall our ten members met with the others in the county to go to Columbus to get a glimpse of college life at Ohio State, Besides looking for old high school grads, cute boys, and for places to sit down to get off our feet, we found the tour only too interesting. We were given lots of information about the stadium by a guide who either had a severe case of laryngitis or was afraid of talking loud enough to be heard. tWe watched some ianitors sweeping the bleachersl We visited the University's broadcasting station, WOSU, and the hospital. We were in many other university buildings, but the lectures given in those two fields were most outstanding. We spent the noon hour in the Union Building. After lunching in the cafeteria, we spent the remaining time being shown around by some Forest grads. l guess as has every touring group before us, the group and the guide became separated. Possibly they didn't know, or care, but they didn't have lady counselors. I'in sure glad the guide came when he did. We were too tired from walking to worry about two frantic women. The spring banquet was held April l4. After the candle-lighting service, which made the juniors official members, entertainment was provided. Ten- nyson Guyer was guest speaker.
