,IV HUMECUMINE Lois McMaster: Carolyn Clinger, Oueeny and Mona Fortney. For the 1953 Annual Homecoming the student body selected three senior girls to reign during the night oi October 9. Carolyn Clinger, who received the highest number of popular votes, was queen with Lois McMaster and Mona Fortney chosen as attendants. During the half time show the queen and her attendants entered the field in a blue Chrysler convertible. They were escorted from the automobile by lim Iohnson and Bill Holtzmuller, captain and co-captain for the evening. The girls received a spray of giant mums. Queens of previous homecomings were given recognition, also. Despite the tact that there was much cheering from the lovely sovereign section and the other spectators, our Rangers were defeated by the Kenton Wildcats. In a festively dressed auditorium Carolyn was crowned queen, and an evening of entertainment was provided for home-town students and visitors from Kenton. SPONSORED BY CAVINEFS RESTAURANT

RESERVES Pint Row: Lloyd Waller, Harold Wedertz, Joe Conley. lim Iohnson, Iames Iefferson. Second low: Ronald Horn, LeRoy Merriman, Vernon l-lemmerly, Bill Holtzmuller, Ronald Rtzor, Mr. Gordon. Although most of our attention is centered on the Varsity team, anyone who followed our Reserves discovered some wonderful team workmanship in these boys. The best of all is that many of these boys have a couple more years with our tearn. Our success lies within their reach and only a deep interest and an earnest desire to gain it will put them on the road to victory. They, too, rnet some rough opponents. However they came through with a 7-5 record in favor of victories. We'll be looking forward to next year when they rack up a 12-0 win for that record book and for the prestige of our school.
