The inspiring spirit and enthusiasm of the Junior Class predom- inates every school activity. Two members of our class helped compose the 1926 debate team. The class is well represented in all athletics: basketball, football, baseball, and track. And those Juniors who are unable to make the school teams can be counted on to support them to the best of their ability. VVe have some splendid actors in the class of 1927. The Junior play, Miz Bob, was a marked success., judging from the crowd and applausc. ing. The class is notably represented in music in High School. The High School Girls' Quartet is composed entirely of Junior girls while two mem- bers of the Boys' Quartet are Juniors. A majority of the cast of the Op- eretta were Juniors and many of them are members of the Glee Clubs. And socially, the Juniors cannot be surpassed as evidenced by the way the main social function of the year, the Junior-Senior banquet, was conducted. Everybody enjoyed thc occasion immensely and the rooms were decorated in the most beautiful way. VVC have taken part in more athletics this year than wc did last, and this was not in vain. for the Sophomore girls won the Chaxnpionship 4-np for the inter-class basket ball gaines. It must also be rvinmnlnfrerl that one of the stars of the sturdy eleven belonged to our class of '2S. The class party was held on Friday evening, March 5, and was dc- clared a wow by all those present.
