Yearbooks + g Pictures 2 Memories 'LDoes my hair look okay'? , I hope this shirt looks goodl', f'My mom's making me do thisf' Sound vaguely familiar? Many more com- ments such as these are made on Picture Day, the day'our visages are recorded for posterity and the yearbook. It may not seem like a big deal now but wait twenty years, go back through your yearbook, and then, suddenly, it is important. Maybe because a friend's ,picture brings back fond memories. l Because the yearbook covers a year's activities, it is delivered! in the fall. The last deadline is usual- ly after school is out so gra.duat'on can be included. The excitemen of a new year is combined with the memories and nostalgia of the old. Many times the staff members who produced the book have gone lon the bigger and better things.
