Class Rings And Graduation Announcements Lost Two Big Steps' We reach many milestones in our lives as we travel from in- fancy to old age. Two of the most exciting for high school students are class ring ordering time and time to order gradu- ation announcements. Juniors seern to have hand and arm ailments when class rings come back. Seniors suddenly realize they have many relatives. Whatever the discovery, one cannot deny that class rings and graduation announcements are the last two big steps for high school students. Many more com- ments such as these are made on Picture Day, the day'our visages are recorded for posterity and the yearbook. It may not seem like a big deal now but wait twenty years, go back through your yearbook, and then, suddenly, it is important. Maybe because a friend's ,picture brings back fond memories. l Because the yearbook covers a year's activities, it is delivered! in the fall. The last deadline is usual- ly after school is out so gra.duat'on can be included. The excitemen of a new year is combined with the memories and nostalgia of the old. Many times the staff members who produced the book have gone lon the bigger and better things.
