The Fun Sid f School Life does not end just because class is overg instead, it just be- gins. From assemblies with Bobo the Magician to spending time with your friends at noon students have a variety of ac- tivities to participate in. After school activities range from the Little River County Fair Pa- rade, to helping with the FFA Chili Supper and Work Day Auction to after school jobs. But the best time of the day is when you can get together with your friends to talk or just clown around. Student Life 'lhns vear the students of FHS have been on the Edge of celebratlons rn 1986 FHS has partlcnpated nn many festxvntnes nncludxng the Sesqunncentemal Across the state students Jolned together to celebrate the 150th bxrthday of Arkansas Festmtnes at dressmg ln clothmg approprlate ofthe early davs FTA sponsored an Arkansas TFIVIH contest At the Elementarv schools a week long celebratxon took place The FFA sponsored a day long celebration that commemorated the days of the old west called Western Dav There were contests such as the Egg Toss the three legged race and the best dressed Cowhov and Cowgirl the wlnners of each contest were awarded two tree tlckets to the FFA Rodeo Martin Luther Kung s blrthday was commemorated wrth an art contest sponsored by the Art Club Another spectacular event was the Vl5ll1 of Halleys Comet Many students watched as the reow ned comet made rts way around the sun and then back lnto deep space FHS include a day long celebration with students and teachers
