Geometry students were surprised that triangles could do so much, Algebra classes argued over x's and y's, and analysis students cried! Gene was especially surprised the day that, during Mrs. Baker's absence, he was suddenly whapped on the head by a flying movie screen. We learned a lot through experi- ence, too. Some students were so enthused with their new calculators that they dropped them daily for an excuse to dis- sect them and probe through their many tiny circuits. But, through it all we managed to convince Mrs. Baker to main- tain her sanity and control her frustrations . . . and anger . . . and excitement. Be careful, Donald.
