S. history and civics classes are concerned with many vital problems ot the past and present which must be understood in order to develop a better understanding of the peoples and events throughout the world. PICTURED ON OPPOSITE PAGE How could we get along without the print shop which provides the school with attractive calendars, programs, invitations, bids and many other school needs? Using the cutting machine is the beginning ot many jobs which are compleied by our carefully instructed young printers. Interested English students meet at the magazine rack which provides a variety ot periodicals for classroom use as well as tor leisure time reading. Whether the selection is Holiday, Theatre Arts or Consumers Magazine the students become acquainted with a wealth ot rich reading material. The habits ot the turtle make an interesting study in the biology laboratory where students learn many facts concerning the lite his'ories ot animals. Caring for the classroom pets is an enviable job given only to carefully selected students. Many interesting projects are carriecl on by our enthusiastic language students. Here we see some oi the well-constructed articles that are representative of ancient Greek and Roman life. They have become a part of the permanent language exhibit. 7
