IUNIOR VICTORY ARMY Our country has calledf Millions have answered f The armed forces answered: the women of the nation heeded the call: and now Foremanites. too young to shoulder arms, are eager to do their bit to help win this war. Foreman was the first Chicago school to support the Junior Victory Army movement. On Friday, February 6. Mrs. Ruth Cleveland. who is sponsoring Foreman's JVA, organized the Foreman students into a live and successful junior victory army by enlisting more than nine hundred active pupils in its ranks. -IVA activities include victory gardening projects lMrs. Voelzl. model airplane construction tllr. Deeringl. lied Cross knitting and sewing Uliss Felch and Mrs. Talbott, salvage tllr. Sazamal. classes on economy cooking and food rationing Oliss Noryvicel. and the sale of defense stamps by National Honor Society Uliss Costellol.
