Seniors were finally rewarded for their scholastic efforts. Class rank- ings were changed by crediting seniors with five quality points for any accelerated course taken. T' 1 6 ff if -ti fs, Administrative changes were made this year. Paul Roberts be- came the new principal. t'l was looking for a place where l could try some new innovative educa- tional ideas. Fordyce appeared to be a place where changes were being made, and I think a young administrator has a good future in Fordyce because of this, he said. Teachers were evaluated in a dif- ferent manner. Evaluation sheets were filled out and returned to teachers with comments on teach- ing routines and techniques. We have many good teachers that are improving and will continue to im- prove, Mr. Roberts commented. Allen Howard, the new adminis- trative assistant, resigned, was re- hired and then was given a sabbat- ical for one year. Paul Hayes was hired as business manager in the middle of the year. Becky Rogers introduces solid geometry to Holly Gresham, Jerry House, and Mark Lasiter. The new family living class offers practical experience as well as technical knowledge.
