Bottom right: Team poses for a part on Playboy magazine. The 1985 Girls' Swim Team would like to thank Mrs. Barbara Hales and Mr. Bill Parker for the encouragement and support they gave their swimmers throughout the season. This was the largest team in the last seven years with 28 girls on the team. There will be 13 returning swimmers: one first year junior, one first year sophomore, and 13 new freshman. Outstanding swimmers were Linda Didyk, Jenny Nickoloff, Chris Miller, and Claudia Palchak, breaking the tractor record in the 200 yard medley relay with a time of 2:06.09 and placing 3rd in league, Amy Lance in the 200 yard freestyle with a time of 2:14.30 and placing 5th in league, Stephanie Mileto, breaking her old league diving record with a score of 306.55, also placing 5th in league, and Jenny Nick- oloff, breaking another tractor record in the 100 yard breastroke with a time of 1:15.14, placing 2nd in league. The team finished off the season with eight wins, four losses and placing 4th in league. Also coaching is Mr. Fred Seitz. Ahmed Makki and Paul Swiatlowski showed excellent leadership throughout their season. We have some good, hard workers on ur team this year especially Derek Tomei nd Marcus Rosinski, who qualify for the tate Championship diving competition, 'Xclaimed Coach Fairman.
