Business Classes Teach Career Skills ‘The business classes help prepare students to enter the world of work. They provide students the basic skills necessary to apply for and hopefully obtain an entry level job in the business area ' stated Miss Marilyn Westrich, head of the Business Department. One of the more challenging business classes offered is Clerical Office Block. This class helps students become acquainted with the different types of equipment used and various situations that occur in an office. There are many different types of modern equipment used in the business classes, including electronic typewriters, transcribing equipment, calculators, word processing screens, and CRT’s.
