The English Department at Fordson High School is one of the largest and with good reason. English does not consist of reading and writing essays. It also entails producing the Tower Tribune, the yearbook, the Quill, a magazine produced by the creative writing class, and play production. The English Department has been expanded this year with the addition of the ninth grade to include Mrs. Carol Groves, Mr. Dave Noelke, and Mr. Tom Sullivan along with other in- structors who teach part time in English.
