JANUARY CLASS Left to Right: Austin, Secretary; McDonald, president; Kiernan. director; Hill, Director; Randel, treasurer; Patton, vice-president; ShaKar|ian, airectu In January, 1945, the familiar phrases were Want to buy a lunchroom ticket? or Want an elevator pass? or I'll bet you can't wait till you're a senior, cuz they’ve got the best tasting gingerale in the senior fountain. Then in our junior year we got into the extra-curricular activities, clubs, sports, night recreation, service squad. We were becoming a part of Fordson. Before we knew it, we were big wheels otherwise known as seniors. Our senior class officers were elected, and lots of hard work began toward the planning of the senior prom and graduation night. November found us working diligently on our senior play, A Date with Judy. Graduation, open house, senior prom meant for many graduates the last time they would be together with all their classmates. So with sweet and treasured memories of wonderful high school careers, the January '48 grads went out into another thrilling, new life. Pag? Eight
