How about a little protection? and Jim Mousie McGuire finished a strong second to the seniors, while Bruce Bott led his Soph A squad into contention. The seniors put together a potent offense led by Tom Corcoran, Jim Tansey, John Cut- ney, Greg Rinn, Carl Crocker cmd scatback Art Martin. Spearheading the defense were John Kepic, Lou Gonzalez, Chris Crispinelli, Dick Delardi, Charlie Owens, John Sullivan and Frank Santilli. Entering the university playoffs the seniors showed why they deserved to take all the marbles. Scoring the most points in intramural history the seniors racked up the Pharmacy finalists 45-O. Taking on the College champions for the grid title the seniors knocked off the collegians i3-2. The Businessmen threatened throughout the game and were scored on only because of a dropped punt in the end zone. ln the annual All-Star game between the College and the School of Business, the Colleg- ians nipped the Businessmen 6-O in the last few seconds of play in a ten minute overtime. The game saw too spirited defensive squads hold each other off until the overtime period.
