RETREAT Each year folowing the first semester exam- inations, the students of the School of Business attend the Annual Retreat. lt is an opportunity presented not only to assess our past lives but also to plan the future with the aid of spiritual advisers. In addition to this general retreat, the students were also permitted to attend a series of weekend closed retreats which were held on campus or at nearby retreat houses. This year the exercises were held from Jan- uary 3lst to February 3rd, Students of the Campus Division attended at the University Chapel, while the City Hall Division held their exercises in Saint Andrew's Church. Reverend Charles F. X. Dolan, SJ., conducted the cam- pus retreat, while the downtown exercises were held by Reverend Francis X. Brock, S.J. The retreat program followed the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius Loyola. Three confer- ences were conducted each day with ample time provided for confession, meditation and reflection. Mass was celebrated at noon while Benediction closed the daily exercises. Facilities were made available for spiritual reading and private consultation with the Retreat Masters.
