Not only does this bring greater recogni- tion to the school, but a membership in the A.F.A. also benefits the club in that more sources of current information are made avail- able to it. This achievement and the increased number of Finance majors, which is the result of inter- est generated by us, are examples of the fine work being done by the club. THE FINANCE CLUB The purpose of the Finance Club is to bring the students of the school of Business, espe- cialy the Finance maiors, into closer contact with the world of finance than they would nor- mally receive from their course of studies. A typical year of activities includes speakers from business firms in the New York area, visits to brokerage houses and the Federal Reserve Bank, and an occasional film on some phase of business. BETA ALPHA PSI The Alpha Omega Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi is the Fordham Chapter of the National Honorary Accounting Fraternity. Its member- ship is open to Junior and Senior accounting maiors who have maintained high scholastic grades in all subiects and distinguished grades in accounting. The fraternity officers: Paul Epperlein, Presi- dent, Jim Power, Vice-President, Ray Cisneros, Treasurer, and Jim Keaveny, Secretary. With the assistance of Professor Edward Marek, Fac- ulty-Vice-President, the fraternity planned and executed an active program for the year.
