THE FINANCE CLUB The purpose of the Finance Club is to bring the students of the school of Business, espe- cialy the Finance maiors, into closer contact with the world of finance than they would nor- mally receive from their course of studies. A typical year of activities includes speakers from business firms in the New York area, visits to brokerage houses and the Federal Reserve Bank, and an occasional film on some phase of business. This year the Economics Society proudly an- nounced the publication of its first Journal of Current Economic Thought. This represents a milestone of achievement in student aspira- tions, being entirely conceived and executed by members ofthe society. The School of Business can indeed be proud of the many progressive achievements of one of its most active societies, one which is held in high esteem by students and faculty alike, the Economics Society.
