Meetings are conducted under the direction and guidance of Fr. George Simor, S. J. Since the main objective of the Evening So- dality is to implement Catholic doctrines in such a way as to make them applicable to the everyday business world, one can be assured a wide range ot subiects are brought up for open discussion. The Sodality thus acts as a melting pot for further Apostolic Action. lt further attempts to provide practical solu- tions to everyday problems of Christian life and fosters a special devotion to Mary and her Son. The Sodality to further its aims publishes a paper, OUR WAY, also promotes a desire for understanding and appreciating the other Li- turgies of the Church by sponsoring participa- tion in these rites. Charles Kuffner Prefect SODALITY OF OUR LADY OF IMMACULATE CONCEPTION Orgonization. That word was on the lips of the Freshman candidates when asked what impressed them about the Sodality. Why? Close co-ordination between the Moderator, Fr. Eamon J. Taylor, S.J., and the member Chairmen of the Executive board gave the Sodality direction. This ioined eftort, rendered cohesive action towards fulfillment of our Price Apostolic Work by the Sodalistsf Coupled with the main apostolic work was a well rounded social, and religious activity program tor the Sodality. Once again, the Sodality lent is resources to the Mission Dance, Swanee Swing and the result was success. Active participation by Sodalists in the World Sodality Congress at the Hotel Roosevelt aided our Organization in the conception and continuance of our Price Apos- tolic Work. 'lncluded within the Price Apostolic Work was the maintaining of our program to foster student awareness to current problems, International, national, cultural and lnterlectual. Experts in their respective fields were invited to address the Student body offering suggestions and solutions and encouraging discussion from the floor. First row: P. Ragone, E. Bruno, C. Tursi, K. Anthony Galimi President CHI RHO The Chi Rho Fraternity has just completed its fourth year of operations on the Campus and is still one of the fastest growing organizations in the School of Business. lt is a religious frater- nity founded on cultural and spiritual obiec- tives. ln fulfillment of these obiectives, its members attend weekly Mass in a body, hold lectures of interest and importance to the Catholic busi- ness students and participate in social activities. Through these various activities, the fraternity is successfully aiding in the spiritual, cultural and social development of its members. Whatever else can be said about the organi- zation and its aims can be best summed up in the preamble of its constitution: We the students of the Fordham University Campus Division, in view of our apparent need for spiritual, cultural, and social development, do hereby form the Chi Rho Fraternity in the hope that religion and learning may go hand in hand, and grow with knowledge.
